Guinea has cut its standard VAT rate from 20% to 18% from 1 January 2017. The rate was originally raised from 18% to 20% to fund emergency help during the ebola outbreak.
The West African state of Guinea has announced a rise in its Value Added Tax rate from 18% to 20% from 19 January 2016. There are no reduced VAT rates. The annual VAT registration threshold remains at GNF 500 million.
