Suriname launches VAT 2018

The South American state of Suriname is to delay the planned imposition of VAT in 2018.  This is part of a plan agreed with the International Monetary Fund. VAT will eventually replace the current Sales Tax. There are also a Consumer Tax and a Services Tax.
